FC Barcelona and former Manchester City striker, Sergio Kun Aguero is set to retire from football owing to his health conditions which have proven to be detrimental in recent times.

The 33-year-old is set to bid farewell to the game after 18 years at the helm, following his latest medical condition which came to light in just his 5th appearance for the Blaugrana against Alaves at the Camp Nou.

The Argentine seemed to be in discomfort while on the field and was replaced immediately and rushed to the hospital. He has been diagnosed with a cardiac disorder, Arrhythmia where the heart beats in an irregular rhythm.

He was recommended to take time off the game for a minimum of three months in the initial stage. However, according to reports from journalist Gerard Romero, Aguero will now announce his retirement from all forms of professional football with immediate effect after further tests revealed the detrimental effects of the ailment.

His stats have been nothing short of astonishing with 260 goals and further 73 assists across 390 appearances, winning 15 titles in his ten years at the Skyblues setup, ever since joining them from Spanish club Atletico Madrid in 2011 summer window.

Manchester City fans though would always have his moment of brilliance etched in their hearts when he netted the ball in the dying moments of an all-important clash against QPR in the 2011-12 English Premier League campaign, where City edged the cross-city rivals United and triumphed in a Major trophy after 44 long years.

However, Barcelona was not a happy haunting for Aguero as his desire of playing alongside his Argentine mate, Lionel Messi was finished when the Catalan Legend parted ways with the Club and joined Paris Saint Germain.

Kun has been the people’s favourite Man City Star for the decade and we all hope for him to be safe and sound in the second essay he is forced to shift amidst the grave concerns.
