Bears' game-day roster for Week 11 vs. Ravens

The Chicago Bears will battle the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, where Chicago will be looking to break a four-game losing streak and nab their first win in over a month.

The Bears are coming off their bye week with the aim of winning after the bye for the first time since 2013. But with an angry Ravens team coming off a loss to the Miami Dolphins, it certainly won’t be easy.

Here’s a look at the Bears’ game-day roster and heading into their Week 11 game vs. Ravens.

Quarterback

  • Justin Fields
  • Andy Dalton
  • Nick Foles

Fields will make his eighth NFL start against another impressive pass rush, where the offensive line will need to give him time. Following his best game against the Steelers, Fields will look to build on that performance and open things up with the downfield passing attack.

Running back

  • David Montgomery
  • Khalil Herbert
  • Damien Williams (Doubtful)
  • Ryan Nall

The Bears will be without Williams, who was downgraded to doubtful with a calf injury. But they’ll have their top two running backs in Montgomery and Herbert, where Chicago will look to establish the run game before opening things up downfield.

Wide receiver

  • Allen Robinson (Doubtful)
  • Darnell Mooney
  • Marquise Goodwin
  • Damiere Byrd
  • Jakeem Grant

The Bears will likely be without Robinson, who is doubtful with a hamstring injury suffered in Week 9. That puts the onus on Darnell Mooney and Marquise Goodwin to step up in Robinson’s absence, especially given the Ravens pass defense is their weakness.

Tight end

  • Cole Kmet
  • Jimmy Graham
  • Jesse James
  • J.P. Holtz
  • Jesper Horsted

Chicago’s tight ends have been more involved in the passing game over the last couple of weeks, and that should continue with Robinson sidelined. Kmet is coming off a career game, where he had 87 yards against the Steelers, and he’s quickly become one of Fields’ favorite targets.

Offensive line

  • Jason Peters
  • Cody Whitehair
  • Sam Mustipher
  • James Daniels
  • Larry Borom
  • Elijah Wilkinson
  • Alex Bars
  • Lachavious Simmons

The Bears offensive line has been okay this season, but they’ve been at their best over the last couple of weeks. They’re going to need another strong effort to give their rookie quarterback time to throw. Jason Peters and Larry Borom have done a solid job anchoring the tackle spots.

Defensive line

  • Akiem Hicks (OUT)
  • Eddie Goldman
  • Bilal Nichols
  • Mario Edwards Jr.
  • Angelo Blackson
  • Khyiris Tonga

The Bears need a strong effort from their defensive line against the Rqvens, especially with Hicks sidelined with an ankle injury. Guys like Goldman and Nichols need to step up in his absence.

Outside linebacker

  • Robert Quinn
  • Trevis Gipson
  • Cassius Marsh

The Bears lost Khalil Mack for the season as he’ll have season-ending foot surgery, which puts the pressure on Quinn and Gipson to step up in his absence. Chicago also promoted Marsh to the 53-man roster after registering a sack vs. Steelers in his first game with the Bears.

Inside linebacker

  • Roquan Smith
  • Alec Ogletree
  • Christian Jones
  • Joel Iyiegbuniwe
  • Caleb Johnson

Chicago lost Danny Trevathan for the year after he landed on injured reserve for the second time this season. But the good news is they have both starting linebackers in place with Smith and Ogletree, as Ogletree returns from injury this week.

Cornerback

USA Today Sports

  • Jaylon Johnson
  • Kindle Vildor
  • Duke Shelley
  • Artie Burns
  • Xavier Crawford

The Bears will have to contend with some talented Ravens receivers, including Marquise Brown and Rashod Bateman. While Johnson has had a solid sophomore season, Vildor remains a liability in the defensive backfield.

Safety

  • Eddie Jackson (Questionable)
  • Tashaun Gipson
  • DeAndre Houston-Carson
  • Marqui Christian
  • Teez Tabor

The good news is it appears that Jackson will make his return to the lineup after missing time with a hamstring injury. That would Chicago their starting safeties back against a Ravens passing game that can open things up.

Special teams

  • K Cairo Santos
  • P Pat O’Donnell
  • LS Patrick Scales

The Bears special teams has been one of their most consistent units. Given this should be a close game, Santos might need to come in clutch against the Ravens.
