This means you don't have to set any alarms or move your appointments just to watch Ed's concert in-game. Instead, you'll just have to remember to log in and watch him perform within the time period.
Ed Sheeran's Pokemon Go concert will be from November 22, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. PST until November 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PST. That's more than a week's worth of concerts!

Increased frequency in water-type Pokemon in the wild
Thanks to Ed Sheeran's serenades, water-type Pokemon, Ed's favorite typing, will appear more frequently in the wild during the game's event dates. From November 22, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. PST until November 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PST, expect more frequent appearances of water-type Pokemon Totodile, Mudkip, Piplup, and Oshawott. If you're lucky, you might even come across a Froakie, or a rare Squirtle wearing sunglasses! Shiny versions of these Pokemon may also appear in the wild, so keep your eyes peeled!
If you're not confident in spotting a Squirtle wearing sunglasses up to chance, then you can increase your opportunities through Field Research. The Squirtle wearing sunglasses may appear when you complete Field Research Tasks, so make sure to do them all!
