Netflix’s Arcane Announces Its Renewal for a Second Season

That was fast. No sooner did the last part of season 1 drop on Netflix, than an announcement about Arcane season 2 arrived. Namely, that it’s currently in production. Set in the universe of the League of Legends video game, Arcane serves as a prequel. In it, the tensions between the affluent city of Piltover and the repressed underbelly of Zaun spill into the dynamic between two sisters. Vi (Haile Steinfeld) and Powder (Ella Purnell), raised by a rebel bar owner, take separate paths after Powder becomes dominated by her more manic personality, Jinx.
