Kate Middleton and Prince William are expected to visit the United States of America. There are rumors that they will be flying in the U.S. for a royal tour and when they do, they might have to play by Meghan Markle's rule, according to a report.

Kate Middleton And Prince William Will Visit The U.S. In 2022

Several outlets claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton would be having a U.S. trip early next year. It will reportedly be part of a royal tour. The palace has not confirmed this yet.

However, Prince William hinted at a potential visit to America. During the inaugural show awards of the Earthshot Prize in October, the prince said he would be taking the event to America in 2022.

"I hope you agree that London and the U.K. has put on quite a show for our first year. So, for the second year, we need to pass the baton to a country whose leadership is essential for all five of our Earthshots," Prince William said. "I'm delighted to announce that the Earthshot Prize will be heading to the United States of America in 2022."

So, whether a royal tour is on the card or not, Prince William and Middleton will be flying to the United States next year. Further details about the royal couple's travel plans will be announced in due course, People reported.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Want Prince William And Kate Middleton To Stay With Them

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex haven't had a royal guest since they moved to the United States. Also, no member of the royal family has met their youngest child, baby Lili, yet. So, if Prince William and Kate Middleton will be in California, the couple will surely want to host them at their house.

"Harry and Meghan feel very strongly about this and think it’s important that the Cambridges stay with them if they come over – it would seem odd if they didn’t," an unnamed source told Heatworld per Express. "They’re certain that there would be no better way for them to put aside their differences than by spending quality time together in the California sunshine. Away from the meddling and negativity, they would have to encounter in England."

The insider added, "And Meghan feels that they would be playing by her rules because they would be in her home and her home country."

Prince Harry and Markle's $14-million mansion in Montecito is spacious enough for them and the Cambridges. Although the Sussexes will be hosting Prince William and Middleton, they would have their own sleeping facilities and staff to take care of their needs.

It will also be helpful if Prince William and Middleton bring their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. In that way, the royal kids will be well catered for. Taking the Cambridge kids on the trip will give them the opportunity to meet their cousins Archie and baby Lili.

"For Harry and Meghan, it’s just a no-brainer and only fair, plus it would send the world a powerful message that they’re letting bygones be bygones. They want to build bridges with William and Kate, introduce the kids to their cousins and show them in person what their life is like in America," the tipster added.

Again, there are no concrete details about Kate Middleton and Prince William's travel plans to the U.S. yet. So, one should take the report with a grain of salt. However, the Cambridges will likely visit the Sussexes, especially since they haven't met baby Lili yet. Also, no matter what, they are still a family.
