Credit: DisneyBig news keeps on coming! Disney Parks are dishing out all sorts of excitement at the Destination D23 event. Exciting Walt Disney World Resort experiences are making a return such as Magic Kingdom’s beloved Festival of Fantasy Parade, Disney’s Hollywood Studios Fantasmic, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom newly named and revamped Finding Nemo musical! Let’s move on over to EPCOT, as this Theme Park has a new restaurant in the works.

Not too long ago we were celebrating the opening of EPCOT’s newest restaurant, Space 220. We’ve been enjoying other new additions to EPCOT as it continues its massive overhaul. The France Pavilion is buzzing with its expansion including Disney’s newest attraction, Remy’s Ratoullie Adventure, and delicious table-service and quick-service restaurant, La Crêperie de Paris. The World Showcase glows at night with the new nighttime spectacular, Harmonious. And the four neighborhoods including World Celebration, World Discovery, World Nature, and World Showcase are starting to take form.
Disney Parks Chairman, Josh D’Amaro, took to the stage during the popular D23 event taking place this weekend to announce that a new restaurant will debut in the World Celebration neighborhood of EPOCT. Check out the concept art image below!

The new restaurant will be a quick-service option and has been named “Connections Café and Eatery.” By the look and location of the restaurant in the World Celebration neighborhood, we believe it will likely act as a replacement to the former Electric Umbrella quick-service restaurant that closed in February 2020. Disney did not announce an opening time frame or food details at this time for the new Connections Cafe and Eatery.
