Big Brother VIP star Ellie Gonsalves gets ENGAGED to her long-time partner Ross Scutts while feeding crocodiles at Australia Zoo with Terri and Robert Irwin

Ellie Gonsalves is engaged to her long-time partner Ross Scutts, after he popped the question she was presenting at Australia Zoo on Saturday.

Before he got down on one knee, she took centre stage as she co-hosted the Croc show alongside with Terri and Robert, as well as Bindi's husband Chandler Powel.

The model and actress, 30, dressed for her special guest host appearance in the zoo's iconic khaki button up.

She styled her top cropped with a knot, teamed with green cargo pants and white sneakers.

The pixie haired beamed as she introduced herself to the hundreds of audience members in the stands of the iconic Crocoseum.

She then got into the action and threw out a chicken carcass to a crocodile that appeared ready to catch the poultry in its jaws.

The Fighting With My Family star was joined in the centre by Robert and a staff member, who looked ready to step in and help.

After feeding the reptile, the blonde beauty turned around to see her long-time love approach her from across the way.

Ross, an entrepreneur based on the Gold Coast, opted for a sharp look in a navy blazer with a white shirt, jeans and sneakers.

Ellie looked surprised as he got down on one knee and presented her with a blue box that contained her engagement ring.

He placed the ring on her finger and they shared a kiss as they audience applauded the couple.

The first to congratulate the pair was the Irwins and Chandler who each hugged the newly engaged pair. 

After her show, she shared a short video on her Instagram Story of herself proudly showing off her engagement ring alongside her fiancé. 

Earlier in the day, prior to her surprise engagement, Ellie posed for photos with a a Woma Python named Lionel at the zoo.

The blonde beauty looked in her element as she smile with the reptile entangled in her hands alongside her beau and Robert.

She has been an Australian Zoo ambassador and Wildlife Warrior for the past four years and continues to raise awareness about wildlife conservation for the zoo.  

Ellie, who has kept her relationship with Ross private, recently spoke about her 13-year long romance in a recently episode of Big Brother VIP.

Just before reading out the elimination results, host Sonia Kruger asked her about what she thinks Ross' thoughts would be her on the show.

'I just know he would be so proud,' she said, after reading her beau's letter from home.

'We've been through a lot together,' she confessed. 

'And I think he's very proud that I just constantly push and break the barriers and I challenge myself and I pave my own way,' she said of their relationship.

'Yeah, that's why it makes me emotional because we've been through a lot,' she added.
