New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley questionable vs. Bucs

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley is listed as questionable for Monday night’s road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Barkley put in three limited practices this week as he works his way back from an ankle injury. He lasted played in New York’s 44-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Oct. 10. He also dealt with a stint on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Barkley, 24, has 54 carries for 195 yards and two touchdowns in five games this season.

Fellow running back Devontae Booker (hip), fullback Cullen Gillaspia (calf) and tight end Kaden Smith (knee) were also listed as questionable for Monday’s game.

The Giants (3-6) ruled out wide receiver Sterling Shepard (quad), linebacker Lorenzo Carter (illness/ankle) and defensive backs Nate Ebner (knee) and Logan Ryan (COVID-19).
