Manchester United is in absolute shambles right now after yet another defeat on Saturday, this time to Watford, who beat them 4-1 at Vicarage Road. By no surprise, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is back on the hot seat and it appears the Man United board is ready to have a serious discussion about his immediate future.

According to the Sunday Times, The Red Devils higher-ups have called for an emergency meeting at 2 PM EST to make a decision on the Norwegian, with his compensation terms expected to be on the agenda. United have now lost four of their last seven games and collected just one win during that span against Tottenham.

Solskjaer has guided Man United to a dreadful four victories in 13 games. He was at risk of losing his job after a 5-0 loss to Liverpool in late October but then secured a couple of respectable results not long after. However, the Red Devils' have now suffered back-to-back Premier League defeats and it's clear the club is looking at other options because Solskjaer isn't showing the ability to turn the ship around.

As the Times noted, the Glazer Family have urged club officials to try and persuade Zinedine Zidane to potentially take over at Old Trafford, even preparing a bigger offer for the Frenchman after Antonio Conte was hired by Spurs. United was also keen on the Italian.

At this point, it does seem like Man United has no other choice but to fire Solskjaer and start fresh with a new gaffer. They're 12 points off league leaders Chelsea and something needs to change.
