Borussia Dortmund left it late but got the job done in the end against Stuttgart, as they came away with a 2-1 win to close the gap to Bayern Munich to just one point.

Second half goals from Donyell Malen and Marco Reus helped Borussia Dortmund claim a vital 2-1 win over Stuttgart. Malen opened the scoring in the 56th minute, before Robert Massimo put Stuttgart back on level terms. But Reus won the game for his side with just five minutes to go by scoring at the end of a blistering counter-attack.

It wasn’t the best of performances from Borussia Dortmund, but Marco Rose will certainly be pleased that his side was able to get the three points. The result will be a massive lift for the Black and Yellows, who have a number of key games coming up in the next few weeks.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 2-1 win over Stuttgart.

Gregor Kobel (7/10)

Kobel did not have a lot to do against Stuttgart. But he did make a couple of really good saves. His most notable moment came in the first half when he made a stunning reflex save to deny Coulibaly from close range.
