Disclosure: We were invited by Disney to attend Destination D23. This did not affect our reporting of the event — our opinions are our own
Disney has shared a ton of updates about the parks at this weekend’s Destination D23 event.
So far, we’ve heard big news on everything from restaurants to attractions. And now, Disney’s also given an exciting update on one form of entertainment we’ve been seriously missing!
At this morning’s Connections: A Look at the Future of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products session, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, Josh D’Amaro, shared an update on the status of the Cinderella Castle stage show.
While we have seen a special event stage show appear during the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event, the regularly scheduled stage show has yet to return.
But it sounds like the stage show drought may be coming to an end in the near future! This morning, Josh D’Amaro shared that a new castle stage show will be coming to the park in the new year, “Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire.”
A specific opening date wasn’t given for the updated castle stage show, but we’ll continue to be on the lookout for more news about the returning entertainment, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest updates!
