Making the NBA All-Defensive team is a tall challenge for Bridges, who averages 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks for the season, yet it's certainly possible. While he has traditionally been known more for his offensive arsenal, given that he's a good shooter averaging 1.7 threes with a +/- of 7.6 this season, Bridges' defense has often flown under the radar. This is what has the potential to excite Suns fans, as such lofty claims and predictions by Chris Paul—one of the most established players in the NBA—surely deserves some consideration, given Chris Paul's boatload of experience in the league.
Mikal Bridges on an All-Defensive team isn't hard to believe either, as he's averaged about 1.3 swipes and 0.7 blocks over the course of his young career, most definitely not bad to look at for the 6'6 shooter. Let's see if Bridges can make Chris Paul a prophet.
