‘NCIS’ Season 19: Check Out Behind Scenes Pics of Upcoming ‘Peacekeeper’ Episode
NCIS fans, get ready for some extra Vance in your next new episode.
That’s because Rocky Carroll, who plays NCIS director Leon Vance. is directing the episode called “Peacekeeper.” It’s the 17th episode and second this fall that Carroll has directed for CBS’ top-rated scripted drama.
And Outsiders, we’ve got you covered with details and behind-the-scenes snaps of the newest episode, which won’t run until Nov. 29. (Bummed about waiting so long between episodes? Us, too).
Here’s what CBS tells us about the newest offering: “NCIS investigates the case of a Navy reservist whose body is found in a beat-up car at the end of a gun range. Also, Kasie weighs the pros and cons of buying a gun.”
Check out the photo from one of the opening scenes. That’s Dr. Jimmy Palmer, the medical examiner, with Alden Parker checking out the body found in a junky old car. Palmer (Brian Dietzen) is usually first on the scene. And Parker (Gary Cole) joined him.
Guns appear to be the central theme to the newest NCIS episode. And forensic specialist Kasie Hines (Diona Reasonover) wants to buy a gun and learn how to use it. Of course, one of the NCIS agents will teach her.
And in this case, it’s Jess Knight (Katrina Law). Here’s a fun fact. Did you know that Law, before she joined the NCIS cast, played the romantic female lead in three Hallmark Christmas movies? Check out the details here.
Meanwhile, it looks like the agents are talking to workers at other gun shops. The synopsis doesn’t reveal many details. But the photos show some of the legwork.
The last new NCIS episode was back on Nov. 8. Patricia Richardson, who starred in the 1990-era comedy Home Improvement, played McGee’s mother-in-law. The episode also featured an appearance by McGee’s wife.
The hour was definitely quirky. Richardson’s character kept her daughter in the dark about her very active dating life. And, the mother-in-law lied about being at home when she really was on a cruise. She would’ve gotten away with it, too. However, Richardson discovered a body in the ship’s sauna. Coincidentally, she had been enjoying a vacation fling with the man.
Turns out, the cruise was connected to two murders. The captain committed both crimes to cover up evidence that he took kickbacks to dump toxic waste into the ocean.
As always, keep it with Outsider for your NCIS news.
