New England Patriots linebacker Matt Judon reveals the Patriots' desire to be ā€œa-holesā€ on the field while remaining as good guys off it. After his team's 25-0 shutout of the Atlanta Falcons, Judon said:

ā€œWe kinda wanna be a-holes on the field, but good guys off the field. Make sure we donā€™t get penalized. We play within the rules, but weā€™re a nasty group. So thatā€™s how we like to play, and thatā€™s how we gotta play in order for our team to win.ā€

Against the Falcons, the Patriots recorded four sacks, four interceptions, and a dozen QB hits. One of the Patriots' hits resulted in an ankle injury to Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. This marked the third straight game where the Patriots have injured an opponent, after doing the same thing against the Cleveland Browns and the Carolina Panthers.

Signed by the Patriots only a few months ago, Judon has already helped drive this reputation transformation in New England. His career-high 10.5 sacks have proven pivotal to the Patriots becoming that nasty group he so proudly labelled them as.

Judon isn't the only one playing his part in his team's dominance. Kyle Dugger recorded six tackles in the win against Atlanta, second only to teammates Kyle Van Noy, Dont'a Hightower, and Ja'Whaun Bentley who recorded at least seven stops. Van Noy recorded an additional two sacks and a pick to stamp his authority on the game.

The Patriots currently sit second in the AFC East with five wins from their last five. With this new nasty side to his team's game, Matt Judon will be hoping he and his team can extend their winning run to six when they face the Tennessee Titans next week.
