EastEnders spoilers follow.

Kathy Beale will fall victim to Rocky and Dotty's dark plan ahead of a shock collapse in EastEnders next week.

Rocky is facing more pressure than ever to come up with money for Dotty to help pay for her mum Sandy's rehab, so he's attempting to defraud Peter Beale with a meat-free menu scheme.

In upcoming episodes, Rocky finds himself backed into a corner when Peter is reluctant to commit to his product range – so Rocky resorts to involving Kathy for help convincing her son.

Rocky later finds out from Peter that Kathy herself pitched in the money, leaving him extremely remorseful over directly stealing money from his love interest.

He takes his concerns to Dotty, explaining he never wanted to hurt Kathy. Rocky insists their entire plan to take Dot Cotton's money from Sonia has spiralled completely out of control.

To make matters worse, Dotty's mum Sandy suddenly reappears and is immediately suspicious of why Rocky has turned up in Walford.

Rocky is forced to dodge requests from Peter on when he can expect the meatless product, then is caught off guard as Kathy asks him to help out at Walford East.

Dotty eventually sees Rocky unwrapping a box of meatless burgers that he's managed to scrounge from the cash-and-carry, rather than providing the premium product he promised the Beales.

All of this stress for Rocky is leading up to shocking scenes next week when Rocky suffers a shock collapse as he's surprised by a 60th birthday party from his new friends and family in Walford.
