The Los Angeles Lakers finally got LeBron James back. But even the King's return wasn't enough for them to pick up a much-needed win.

Russell Westbrook was vocal after their blowout loss to the Boston Celtics, which drops them below .500 at 8-9.

“I think the reality of it is that everybody on the outside has really high expectations of our team, as they should,” said Westbrook via ClutchPoints' Michael Corvo. “But the reality of our team is that we haven't really played with each other, realistically.”

Westbrook finished the game with just 12 points on 5-for-13 shooting from the field. His co-stars in LeBron and Anthony Davis meanwhile combined for 54 points on a 22-for-37 clip.

LeBron James and Russell Westbrook have played just seven games together. While the Lakers' on-court chemistry isn't off to a flying start, there's clearly still a lot of time for them to adjust to one another.

The Lakers have a relatively light schedule ahead of them in the next couple of weeks. The team should be able to pile on a few wins, but more importantly it gives them a chance to operate without the pressure of marquee matchups every other night.

LeBron James is back and the rest of the roster is starting to grow more and more healthy. While it's getting harder and harder for Lakers fans to stay patient on this team, there's clearly still light visible at the end of this tunnel.
