Call of Duty: Warzone's Caldera delayed to December 8

Call of Duty: Warzone’s  new Caldera map was delayed to Dec. 8.

Activision gave no reason for the week-long delay, only stating that the first season of Call of Duty Vanguard  isn’t coming out on Dec. 2 anymore, so neither is  Caldera. According to PC Gamer, the full  Ricochet anti-cheat system will release on Dec. 8 as well.

Anyone that owns Call of Duty Vanguard  will gain access to Caldera a full day early, as the open access doesn’t begin until Dec. 9. Yes, you need to own one Call of Duty  in order or play a map in the other  Call of Duty. It’s weird.

If you’ve not yet picked Call of Duty Vanguard up, its  multiplayer is free this weekend. So you can give it a shot to see if it’s worth buying for Caldera’s early access. We were not big fans, though

The introduction of Ricochet is fascinating, especially since Activision is ready to ban cheaters from Call of Duty  permanently. As in like, the whole franchise.
