Spread the love

On Tuesday, December 14th, Clarkton Public Library will host a Christmas party for the children of Bladen County. It will be a great time full of Christmas cheer, with milk and cookies, pajamas, a craft, and of course — story time!

For this Christmas party, the book of choice is “A Cookie for Santa” by Stephanie Shaw. The kids in attendance will get to make a placemat for Santa’s milk and cookies on Christmas eve, and they will also make paper gingerbread ornaments.

Bladen County Library Director Sheila Nance says, “I am so excited about our Christmas party at Clarkton Library! If you’ve never been to this branch, you are missing out. It’s such an adorable, quaint location — perfect for a good Christmas story with milk and cookies in your PJs! The best part is the gift of giving every child that attends a free book. I will never get tired of that!”

This is a great opportunity for some Christmas fun right here in Bladen County! Bladen County Public Library branches in Bladenboro in Elizabethtown will also host Christmas events. BladenOnline will share separate articles with everything you need to know about those events as well.

Clarkton Public Library is located at 10413 North College Street in Clarkton.
