Epic partners with fashion label Moncler for new Fortnite outfits
Epic Games has announced a new partnership with fashion label Moncler to bring new outfits and accessories to Fortnite.
The Moncler Classic Set arrives in the Item Shop tomorrow, November 20th, and includes the Andre and Renee Outfits. These outfits are inspired by the 6 Moncler 1017 Alyx 9SM collection by Matthew Williams and will transition from light to dark as altitude increases and the opposite as it decreases.
In addition to the outfits, the set features the Umbra-tube Back Bling, Umbra-Axe Pickaxe, and Para-Pluie Glider, as well as The Summit Loading Screen, which is exclusive to the Moncler Classic Bundle.
“It’s been very interesting working with the team at Epic and Moncler to bring the 6 MONCLER 1017 ALYX 9SM collection to life inside a vibrant digital space like Fortnite. The new 6 MONCLER 1017 ALYX 9SM collection celebrates when light meets the dark, the collaboration with Fortnite explores this concept in completely new ways,” Matthew Williams, creative director of ALYX 9SM, said.
“Digital materials do not follow the rules of the physical world, allowing us to to be more creative with these new in-game reactive outfits, they transition from light to dark depending on the altitude of the player inside the game. As Moncler was born in the mountains, the new styles in Fortnite authentically honor that heritage.”
Fortnite is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile.
