Southern Charm's Patricia Altschul has been sharing updates on Michael Kelcourse's health throughout the year since it was confirmed back in February that he suffered from an acute spinal cord infarction, also known as a spinal cord stroke. On Thursday (November 18), Patricia posted a new update and photo of Michael as he receives physical therapy at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

"Michael working hard at this specialized physical therapy program at the Shepard Center in Atlanta… famed for success in spinal rehabilitation," Patricia captioned an Instagram photo of Michael. "We all miss you and are continually impressed by your dedication to overcome this hardship."

Patricia also celebrated Michael's birthday recently and posted a photo of her beloved longtime right-hand man looking dapper and smiling. "Happy Birthday to Michael Kelcourse," she wrote on October 13, along with a hashtag of his famous nickname, "Michael the Butler."

Michael has not only been visited by Patricia's son, Whitney Sudler-Smith, but also a furry pal of his from when he was living in Charleston. Patricia shared a video of their visit, writing, "Michael used to babysit for this dog in Charleston when his friend had to travel. So when he went to Atlanta he took Ziti to visit….such a sweet reunion."

Michael has also been making friends down at the center as well. "These lovely nurses at Shepherd Center took Michael to lunch," Patricia shared on Instagram over the summer.

Back in Charleston, Patricia has been caring for Michael's adorable cat, who has certainly made herself at home in Patricia's lovely house. "I’ve been taking care of Michael’s kitty until he is able to do so," Patricia previously shared about the feline. "She has settled right in being in the main house and pays no attention to the dogs."
