Halo Infinite Goes Gold

Halo Infinite Goes Gold

Publisher Microsoft and developer 343 Industries have announced Halo Infinite goes gold ahead of its release next month.

While Halo Infinite goes gold, this means the game has reached gold master status, meaning the game’s development and code is finalized and ready for distribution. Halo Infinite was previously set to launch on December 8th on Windows PC (via the Microsoft Store, Steam), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.

In related news, the game’s campaign co-op and Forge mode were just delayed to May and Summer 2022 at the earliest.

Here’s a rundown on the game:

When all hope is lost and humanity’s fate hangs in the balance, the Master Chief is ready to confront the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced. The legendary Halo series returns with the most expansive Master Chief story yet.
