Let’s talk Minnie ears. PRICEY Minnie ears, to be specific.
How expensive is too expensive when it comes to Minnie ears? We’ve seen some steep price tags, like $49.99 for BaubleBar ears, or even $600 for Vera Wang Ears. While we’ve already spotted these very expensive ears in Disney World, now they’ve arrived online so you can decide whether the cost is worth placing an order!
The three new ears on shopDisney are part of the Luxe Logo Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration Collection and they’re not exactly cheap, so let’s take a closer look.
If we start with the “cheapest” of these new Minnie ears, for $225 you can get the 50th Anniversary Loungefly Leather Minnie Ears, which feature gold leather ears with an “embossed Disney World 50th anniversary grid design.”
The black bow is also made of leather, and you’ll find a Disney x Loungefly metal plate sewn onto the side of the headband. So are they worth $225? We’ll let you decide.

Next up are the Limited Release 50th Anniversary Jeweled Minnie Ears for…$750. The gold ears are encrusted with gold sequins and rhinestones, paired with a black velour bow and headband. “Walt Disney World 50” is embroidered in gold thread on the headband.
They come in a fancy velvet-lined box along with a Certification of Verification.
You can use the box for display purposes, and you also get a dust bag to keep your $750 ears safe. They’re sparkly and pretty, but are they $750 pretty?

And now it’s time for the main event, the Limited Release 50th Anniversary Jeweled Ear Hat for…drumroll please….a cool $1,000. Like the jeweled ear headband, this ear hat is covered in gold sequins and rhinestones, with padded ears and edging in black trim.
The inside of the ear hat is lined with a Disney World 50th anniversary print, and we’re a little surprised at the elastic chin strap included with $1,000 ears. Maybe they could have put jewels on it or something?
Like the ear headband, it comes with a black box lined in velour, so you can display your very sparkly $1,000 ear hat.
It also comes with a Certificate of Verification and a dust bag, and it’s limited release so we’re interested to see how long it takes for them to sell out!

I was at Disney World from November 7th to the 14th and found very little merchandise to buy. No Corksicle sparkling drink cups for sale but were still advertised.No Crocs and very little 50th anniversary items that I would purchase. Don’t give me the supply chain because they had plenty of Christmas items for sale. You should be ashamed of yourself Bob Chapek.
