Microsoft has released today the Windows 11 build 22000.348 (KB5007262) for Insiders in the Beta and Release Preview channels. This cumulative update brings a single fix for an issue that might prevent apps, such as Kaspersky apps, from opening after users attempt to repair or update the apps using the Microsoft Installer (MSI).

This Microsoft Installer issue surfaced after the company released this month’s Patch Tuesday updates last week, and it’s also affecting the latest versions of Windows 10 in addition to Windows 11. Now that the fix is out for Windows 11 Insiders, it should be long before Microsoft makes it available for non-Insiders as well.

If you’re on the Dev Channel, Microsoft has also released today another servicing pipeline test with the build 22504.1010 (KB5008697). There are no new features in that build, and the Windows Insider team announced earlier this week that due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday in the US, there wouldn’t be another flight in the Dev Channel next week.
