Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) back at Browns practice Friday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) returned to practice Friday for Week 11 against the Detroit Lions.

What It Means:

Peoples-Jones aggravated a groin injury during Wednesday's practice and then sat out Thursday. Barring any other setbacks, he should be out there on Sunday in a plus matchup against the hapless Lions. Peoples-Jones played a season-high 85% of the snaps last week, and over the last two weeks, he is second on the Browns in routes (48), tied for first in targets (8), and first in receiving yards (102).

DPJ has an average depth of target of 17.5 yards downfield, which is seventh-deepest among players targeted at least 15 times this year, per Sports Info Solutions. That could bode well in Week 11 against a Lions defense allowing the second-highest average explosive pass rate (12%), according to Sharp Football Stats.
