Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp stands firm on his future with the club, even with the surfacing rumors of Steven Gerrard's succession.

Steven Gerrard returns to the Premier League after six years, but as Aston Villa's manager. After an impressive managerial stint with Rangers F.C, the Liverpool legend received a ton of congratulatory messages on his arrival.

Meanwhile, some Liverpool fans may start to expect that Gerrard will soon take over at Anfield, triggering rumors of Klopp's future with the club. Still, the German is focused on his team's success.

“I don’t have to think about those kind of things, thank God, because we are in the middle of this season and that’s all that we are focused on.

“I know managers often get asked about things that will happen in two-and-a-half, three or four years but I don’t know. I haven’t thought about it until you asked me about it and I don’t want to,” the Liverpool boss stressed.

“It’s all fine how it is. It’s over when it’s over and it’s far away from being so let’s focus on that.”

The club owes a lot to Klopp, as he delivered by winning a UEFA Champions League title in 2019 and a Premier League championship during the 2019-2020 season. However, the Reds face formidable barriers this season through teams like Chelsea, Man City, and West Ham.
