Coffey, MO: Gale PeeWee Sweany, 63, of Coffey, Missouri passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the home of his daughter, Autumn Quimby in Maryville, Missouri.
“PeeWee” was born on May 10, 1958 in Coffey, Missouri to Vernon B. and Wanda L. (Ward) Sweany. He was a graduate of the Coffey High School and was a self-employed carpenter.
PeeWee loved his family and playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed his paraglider and fishing. He was a hard worker with a big heart and was always helping others.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John and Dale Sweany.
Survivors include his partner in life, Terri Luther of the home and his children, Autumn (Ryan) Quimby, Sara (Dylan) Montague, Lewis (Kayla) Barron, Christian (Amber) Barron, Isaiah Barron, Jamie Nash, Ty (Carly) Perkins, Jason Perkins; three sisters, Barbara (Larry) Maloney, Pat (Scott) West, Donna (Danny) Camp and his army of grandchildren along with his dog, Phoebe. Mr. Sweany has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home in Maryville, Missouri. There will be no visitation or services held. www.pricefuneralhomemaryville.com
