Having survived the last international break of 2021, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is plotting a fresh start at Manchester United, one he knows can only begin with a win at Vicarage Road if he is to escape further questions over his future. Watford have lost more games to the Red Devils than any other Premier League opponent and have failed to score in seven games. Surely this is the moment when United get back on track?

Here is how you can watch the match and what you need to know:

Storylines

Watford: If the Hornets are to get the better of Manchester United might it come by imposing themselves on their opposition in a physical fashion? Certainly their robust defending, which sometimes strayed into outright fouling, looked to be causing trouble for Arsenal before Emile Smith Rowe's second half strike. No side has made more fouls in the Premier League this season than Watford's 154, Emmanuel Dennis (26) and Juraj Kucka (25) are the league's leading individuals.

Hitting Manchester United hard could be a way to pray on any nerves in Solskjaer's ranks but equally it is easy to see how it could backfire against a team with dynamic forwards who have a reputation for winning plenty of penalties.

Manchester United: Solskjaer may have made it through an international break where three of his Premier League counterparts lost their jobs -- robbing the United hierarchy of a clear window in which to make a managerial change -- but the challenge of a more favorable fixture list than that his side in past weeks is there are no mitigating circumstances behind any defeat.

The pressure is not easing but Solskjaer insists that is something to be relished. "We know that with a poor run of form we put ourselves under pressure," he said. "That pressure should be a joy. It should make us a better team, and make player perform at the best level. Watford is a very big game, as every Premier League game is, it's a game to go into and enjoy.

"The players, the staff, myself, the club, we are working on one goal: to improve and get better results. The fans are still supporting the team and the club. They've been through this period, and backed the team through the rebuild. When you lose a game you're always disappointed and under pressure. We've been communicating openly and honestly. There's one game that matters and what goes on after that."

Prediction

United are unlikely to find this as easy as they might hope but they should get back to winning ways against one of the league's worst sides. PICK: Watford 0 Manchester United 1
