Julia Stiles is pregnant with baby No. 2 with husband Preston J. Cook

Julia Stiles is pregnant with her second child with her husband, camera assistant Preston J. Cook.

The actress, 40, confirmed the news by cradling her baby bump on the red carpet while attending a screening of “The Humans” at New York City’s Village East Cinema on Thursday.

Stiles wore a black turtleneck dress that hugged her midsection, camouflaging her bump from certain angles until she began caressing it.

This will be the “10 Things I Hate About You” star’s second baby with Cook, whom she married in a self-described “shotgun wedding” in September 2017 while pregnant with their now-4-year-old son, Strummer.

Page Six has reach out to Stiles’ reps for comment.

The “Silver Linings Playbook” star met industry pro Cook on the set of the 2015 thriller “Blackway.” She announced their engagement in January 2016.

“Best Christmas Ever! 💖,” she captioned a close-up photo on Instagram of the couple’s hands, highlighting her engagement ring.

Since welcoming Strummer in October 2017, Stiles has been a hands-on mother who isn’t afraid to clap back at the occasional mom-shamer on social media.

In December 2017, the Emmy nominee responded to criticism over how she placed her baby boy in his carrier.

“It was brought to my attention that in the previous photo I am not holding my baby correctly. Wow, I didn’t expect that,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “What was supposed to be a shout out of products I like, suddenly becomes an invitation to comment on my baby, and my ability as a mother. That’s the internet for you…

“It was just a photo taken at home, not how I normally carry him around,” Stiles further explained. “Thanks for the concern, anyway. Yes, Mothers, always read the safety instructions. But also, Instagrammers: instead of writing snarky comments about a 5 week old, try dancing around your living room to a Clash record. It’s way more fun.”
