Lauren Boebert Targeting 'List' of 'Democrats' Including Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger

Representative Lauren Boebert has listed a number of lawmakers, including fellow Republicans, she would be targeting if the GOP retakes the House of Representatives following the 2022 midterm elections.

In an interview with Fox News on Thursday, the Colorado Republican was asked about her attacks on Democrats during a House debate into the censure of Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ).

The House voted 223-207 to reprimand Gosar after he shared a cartoon on Twitter and Instagram that showed him attacking Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

Ahead of the vote, Boebert called Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) a member of the "jihad squad" in a comment which went viral and was widely criticized.

She also raised an unsubstantiated rumor about Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and his contact with a suspected Chinese spy saying that he was "sleeping with the enemy."

When asked about her diatribe, Boebert told Fox News that both Omar and Swalwell would be in the firing line should the GOP retake the House.

"Democrats have now removed four Republicans from committees but, look, what goes around comes around," she told Fox.

"I've started making a list, and Ilhan and Eric are at the top. Maxine Waters, Cori Bush, and a couple other Democrats like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger on there too."

The latter two are Republicans but are the only GOP members on the January 6 committee investigating the insurrection in the U.S. Capitol.

They have fallen out with parts of the GOP for their criticism of former President Donald Trump, whose supporters were involved in the riots.

When asked by Fox anchor Jesse Watters how she would target the lawmakers, Boebert replied, "when we have the majority, it is going to be all about accountability and investigations."

"I will be on the oversight committee and I am submitting subpoenas for the people who are in this administration and making them answer to their failures," she said.

"I am absolutely calling out the members of Congress who serve in the House and do the things that they do," she told Fox, "I'm absolutely going to hold them accountable."

Following her attack in the chamber on Democrats like Omar, Boebert was condemned by a TV anchor in her home state.

Kyle Clark from 9NEWS in Denver said in a monologue, "If we held her to the same standard as every other elected Republican and Democrat in Colorado, we would be here near-nightly chronicling the cruel, false and bigoted things that Boebert says for attention and fundraising."
