Buffalo Iron Works has cemented itself as one of Buffalo, NY’s premier music venues since opening back in 2013. Nestled right next to KeyBank Center in the heart of The Bison City’s historic Cobblestone district, the venue has played host to countless live music events over the past eight years, including Spafford, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Aqueous, Turkuaz, and many more.

Featuring a roomy stage, large garage doors that open to an oversized patio, a massive, full-service bar, and plenty of floor space to accommodate 500 dancing patrons, Iron Works is a must-experience type of venue for any fan of live music. November 20th – Dirty Work: Steely Dan Tribute Ft. Members of Aqueous

On Saturday, November 20th, Dirty Work: Steely Dan Tribute will take over the Iron Works stage. November 21st – An Evening w/ The Jauntee

Sunday, November 21st, will see Iron Works host An Evening with The Jauntee. November 24th – Intrepid Travelers & Space Junk: Flip Hunger the Bird!

On Wednesday, November 24th, Intrepid Travelers and Space Junk will join forces for a very special show dubbed Flip Hunger the Bird. The bands promise a special Thanksgiving Eve performance and ask that attendees bring a canned good donation for the Food Bank of Western New York. Each donor will receive a free gift.

November 26th–27th – Workingman’s Dead

Post-Thanksgiving, on November 26th and 27th, Workingman’s Dead will stage a two-night run at Buffalo Iron Works, promising music for Deadheads, by Deadheads. Night one will see the band joined by Organ Fairchild, while the group will bill night two as An Evening with Workingman’s Dead [get tickets].

December 3rd – Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad

Kicking off the December run of shows will be Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad on the 3rd. Special guests Dirty Blanket will join the band for this one-off performance at Buffalo Iron Works. Formed in 2001 in Rochester, New York, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad has been called “The Grateful Dead of reggae” and first received praise for its live show, combining world beats and reggae rhythms within jamband aesthetics [get tickets].

December 4th – Talking Dead Heads

Following Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad’s performance on Friday, Talking Dead Heads will take the stage on Saturday, December 4th, for a night of Talking Heads and Grateful Dead covers and mashups.

The Talking Dead Heads formed in 2018 when guitarist Jason Staniszewski was asked to put a group together for a show at the nearby Nietzsche’s music venue. Jason had always wanted to try out the dynamics of two of his favorite bands, and see if they would match up well on stage. Folks came and seemed to have loved it [get tickets].

December 9th – Moon Hooch

Finally, on Thursday, December 9th, Moon Hooch will make its way west from New York City to Buffalo for an all-out barn-burner at Iron Works. Moon Hooch began busking in the subway platforms of NYC in 2010, quickly getting noticed by the NYPD, who had to ban them from locations that couldn’t handle the crowds. In a few short years, the band was opening for the likes of Beats Antique, They Might Be Giants, and Lotus, while selling out their own headline shows at marquee venues around the United States and Europe.
