Porsha Williams exited RHOA amid her engagement controversy.

Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans were shocked when Porsha Williams confirmed her departure. Although she was offered a contract for season 14, she decided to move on. Instead, Porsha has a new spinoff. It’s entitled, “Porsha’s Family Matters.” Although Porsha didn’t reveal why she has left RHOA, there have been plenty of rumors. In fact, it was rumored her engagement is why she left. There was a lot of controversy surrounding news of her engagement to Simon Guobadia. Last season, Simon appeared on the show. He was married to Falynn Guobadia. And Falynn was a guest on season 13. She appeared very friendly with Porsha. Porsha even came over Falynn and Simon’s house to enjoy their swimming pool. So some began to question if Porsha and Simon got together while he was still with Falynn.

Porsha denied being the cause of Simon and Falynn’s divorce. Simon also accused Falynn of cheating on him with her assistant. Falynn is now pregnant by the said assistant, Jaylan Banks.

Regardless, the drama surrounding Porsha’s engagement will play out on her spinoff. So fans will still be able to be entertained although RHOA won’t return until next year. Interestingly enough, some fans have also been getting their fix with “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” as well. Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey were both selected to represent RHOA.

Although Porsha isn’t on RHUGT, her name came up after the RHUGT cast recently appeared on “Watch What Happens Live.” When they were asked if Porsha is an “All-Star,” only Cynthia and Kyle Richards said she was. Kenya and the others did not.

Well, Porsha and her sister Lauren Williams responded to this.

  1. Kenya and Cynthia were the better fit for this spin off. Porsha is too ghetto. The spin off needed classy black representation. period!
