Fans were left wondering what happened to Kate Connor during her father's funeral in Coronation Street.
In last night's (November 17) episode, viewers were baffled to realise Kate missed Johnny's funeral.
Johnny died during Super Soap Week after rescuing his ex-wife Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews), who had fallen in the Victorian sewers.

The two found each other and waited for hours to be rescued. As the emergency team were unable to locate them, Shona (Julia Goulding) decided to try and find them on her own.
She made her way down a manhole and found Johnny and Jenny.
While Jenny swam through the sewer water, holding a rope at the same time and eventually making it to Shona, Johnny didn't. He was too exhausted to swim and was swept away.

Played by Faye Brookes, Johnny's daughter Kate was last seen on the cobbles in 2019. She decided to start fresh after her partner Rana Nazir's (Bhavna Limbachia) death and left Weatherfield.
However, not even such a tragic event was able to bring her back, leaving Corrie fans upset she didn't make an appearance.

"Seems a bit insensitive for Kate not to be at her own father's funeral?" one person noted on Twitter.
"Oh yeah Kate! She couldn't come back for her Dads funeral?" asked another viewer who seemed to only just remember the character.
"Kate couldn't be bothered more like," another fan wrote.
"Kate can't be here today. Selfish selfish Kate," was another comment.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7.30pm on ITV.
