Ravens star Lamar Jackson not practicing due to illness

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) -- As the Bears prepare to face Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson on Sunday, Baltimore is practicing without him.

For a second straight day, Jackson didn't practice Thursday due to a non-COVID illness. It's the fourth time this season that Jackson has missed practice due to an illness, but he has played in all nine of Baltimore's games. Tyler Huntley is the backup quarterback behind Jackson.

Back at Halas Hall, Bears safety Eddie Jackson returned to practice Thursday in a limited fashion, his first work since suffering a hamstring injury during Chicago's loss to San Francisco on Oct. 31.

The Bears practiced Thursday without star pass rusher Khalil Mack (foot), defensive lineman Akiem Hicks (ankle), receiver Allen Robinson (hamstring) and linebacker Danny Trevathan (knee). Receiver Darnell Mooney (foot) was limited in his work.

The Bears (3-6) host the Ravens (6-3) on Sunday at Soldier Field, with kickoff set for noon.
