Emmerdale hints at possible new victim for Meena Jutla

Emmerdale has revealed that serial killer Meena Jutla may have her eyes on her next victim.

The ITV soap has recently introduced a new lover for evil Meena (Paige Sandhu) after her break-up with David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden), when he decided to pursue his relationship with Meena's rival, Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins).

When Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) swooped in to intervene in Meena's altercation with Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), Meena dubbed him her knight in shining armour, and she remains fixated on him in Monday's episode (November 22).

Previously, Emmerdale executive producer Jane Hudson teased: "Will she lure him into her web?"

Next week, Meena and Billy go on a date at the HOP to feel out their budding romance, and Meena is keen to impress him, and finally move on from her ex-boyfriend David.

While all initially goes well between the pair, it doesn't last long, as Billy's ex-girlfriend Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) walks in.

With Dawn watching on, an awkward atmosphere develops on the pair's first date. Of course, this rubs Meena up the wrong way, but what will she do about it?

Dawn and Meena actually share one thing in common: they have both killed people in the village.

Meena has recently been the resident serial killer on the soap, but back in 2020, Dawn shot and killed Malone in self-defence, after he tried to force her to take her own life.

Will Meena see Dawn as a threat – and will she want her out of the way in the future?

Things seem to be going downhill for Meena, as Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon) is poised to discover her attempt to kill Victoria in Super Soap Week.

Ben goes snooping around the HOP when Jai tried to blame him for the rope bridge collapse, in an attempt to clear his own name, but uncovers damning footage of Meena trying to drown Victoria.
