Two Moorhead men face felony drug charges after being found with more than 300 fentanyl pills with a street value of about $12,000.
Moorhead Police say 33-year-old Brady Swanson and 31-year-old Matthew Katz were arrested Wednesday after authorities got a tip that the men had been transporting dangerous drugs from Minneapolis to Moorhead.
Their vehicle was stopped on I-94. A search revealed 15 small bags containing 343 pills. Each pill was marked “M30”, a known description of counterfeit labeled drugs.
The drugs tested positive for containing fentanyl.
Swanson and Katz each face a charge of First Degree Felony Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Patrol assisted in the bust.
