The John Cho-led action caper has been years in the making and the wait is finally over. Based on the groundbreaking anime of the same name, Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop takes place in a future where crime runs rampant in the solar system. So much so that bounty hunters known as “cowboys” make sweet cash tracking down killers, thieves, con artists, and all sorts of unsavory folks. Cowboy Bebop follows three specific “cowboys”: Spike Spiegel (John Cho), a charismatic fighter with a secret criminal past, Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), a former cop trying to do right by his daughter, and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda), a sassy broad who literally can’t remember her past. Along the way, the trio will cross paths with eco-terrorists, assassins, and one adorable corgi named Ein.
