Drop the gloves! Ryan Reaves and the Rangers are showing fight. They are on a four-game winning streak and Reaves has the MSG faithful behind him after he pummeled Montreal’s Michael Pezzetta. All is gravy in Rangers land.

To talk about the hot streak, it’s time for a new episode of the “Up In The Blue Seats” podcast with Ron Duguay and Mollie Walker, including the weekly chat with The Post’s Larry Brooks. This episode also features a one-on-one conversation I had with Rangers legend Henrik Lundqvist at the Chris Tschupp Halt ALS charity hockey game on Saturday at the Richard J. Codey Arena in West Orange, N.J.

Up In The Blue Seats Podcast with Ron, Mollie & Jake:

  • REAVES: He showed us why the Rangers brought him to the team. The fans loved it. Not a smart decision from Pezzetta in just his eighth game in the league. Blueshirts need more of that.
  • BLAIS/SUBBAN: Felt it was an intentional hit by P.K. Subban and he has a history of this. League needs to discipline more than they have. Sammy Blais is now out for the season. Ron recalls an ACL injury he had during his career.
  • KIDS ARE ALRIGHT: Kaapo Kakko gets his first goal and points of the season. The Rangers’ young players are playing well. Veterans playing better and the rookies are feeding off that.

Henrik Lundqvist Interview:
Rangers legendary goaltender

  • POST-PLAYING CAREER: Does he miss the game? How does he like broadcasting? What else does he have cooking?
  • IGOR SHESTERKIN: Loves his game and the way he’s playing.
  • NUMBER RETIREMENT: How special it will be to have his number retired at MSG in January and his family getting to come in for the game from Sweden.
  • KING/BROOKSIE: Being nicknamed “The King” and his relationship with Larry Brooks over the years.

Larry Brooks Interview:
The Post’s Senior NHL Reporter/Columnist

  • BLAIS: Was impressed with him and improvement and unfortunate he got hurt.
  • JULIEN GAUTHIER: This is his time to shine now, needs to maintain discipline.
  • FILIP CHYTIL: He could be up on the first line now, has value as center.
  • HENRIK: Memories covering Henrik over the years and giving him “The King” nickname. How special it was covering him every night.
