Dragon Ball Super is getting ready to launch the latest manga chapter in a few days, and the official website of Dragon Ball website has taken a moment to highlight a special Namekian ahead of the release.

Today, the official Dragon Ball website has shared an update in which they detailed the character Monaito. The old Namekian has played a pivotal role in the Granolah the Survivor Arc for . Fans were surprised when he first appeared in the current arc since it was revealed that Monaito was not from Planet Namek despite the race, and now, the blog has provided an explanation for that.

According to the post, there's a difference between the Planet Namekian and being a Namekian. Dragon Ball has always made it clear that Namekians are from Planet Namek, but it turns out that it's not always the case, but now, Dragon Ball Super has explained why Namekians living outside planet Namek are still considered Namekians that fans are familiar with.

"Although, when it comes to Monaito, him living his life far from Planet Namek on Planet Cereal certainly doesn't make him any less of a Namekian! It's also worth noting that in Japanese, it seems the nomenclature for Namekians living on Planet Namek specifically is more like 'Planet Namek-ians', while the general term for a member of the green race is simply "Namekian"," the official Dragon Ball website reads.
