Former MLBer Adeiny Hechavarría reunites with fiancée after 9 months apart

Reunited and it feels so good.

Alison Bowles, the fiancée of former MLB player Adeiny Hechavarria, celebrated their long-awaited reunion Wednesday in the Maldives after being apart for most of the year.

“Together again ❤️ nine months apart is too long! Happy to have my man back!” Bowles captioned her Instagram post, adding the hashtags “baseball life” and “offseason.”

Hechavarria, who previously played for the Yankees, Mets and Braves, among other major league teams, joined the Chiba Lotte Marines of the Nippon Professional Baseball league — which is based in Japan — last December. The 32-year-old shortstop made his NPB debut in April.

In a post Thursday on his own Instagram page, Hechavarria gushed, “I am feeling so happy to be here with my beautiful fiancé @alisonbowles for vacation after being apart for nine months.”

Bowles, a fashion model behind the website Wander in Heels, also gave fans a peek at her and Hechavarria’s romantic getaway Thursday on her Instagram Story as the couple shared a kiss in paradise. The evening before, it appears they also caught “Beauty and the Beast” under the stars.

Both Bowles and Hechavarria have seemingly been counting down the days until they reunited. In August, Bowles celebrated Hechavarria’s career on Instagram, while noting there were “just a couple more months” until they would be together again.

Earlier this year, Bowles also reminisced about the couple’s Fast and Furious-esque photo shoot.

“Really missing my partner in crime! I am so thankful to be with a person that supports my dreams as much as I support his. It’s important to have each other’s back,” she wrote in May on Instagram. “Growth mentality together in JESUS name is everything, in the wins and the loses. But Japan… please open your borders soon! I miss my man.”

Based on where Bowles and Hechavarria currently are, it’s safe to say: paradise found.
