The Toronto Raptors will be without one of their best players for the foreseeable future. Per The Athletic's Eric Koreen, OG Anunoby is set to miss time with a hip injury:

Anunoby is in the midst of an outstanding campaign for the Raptors, leading the team in scoring with 20.1 points per game to go along with 5.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists. He also has a 23.5 usage percentage this season, which slightly edges out Fred VanVleet.

The 24-year-old apparently hurt his hip in practice on Wednesday after dropping 29 points on Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers. Anunoby's absence will definitely be felt on the Raptors given his tremendous prediction. It's also the worst time for this to happen because Toronto is struggling to string together victories right now.

They've lost five of their last six games after winning five straight previously. The rest of the rotation will have to step up immensely. Although Pascal Siakam has been starting at center, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Nick Nurse shift him to small forward and use either Chris Boucher or Khem Birch at the five.

The Raptors face the Utah Jazz on Thursday night in Salt Lake City, the second contest of a six-game road trip.
