After losing two members, Team Secret finally made a big move of their own. The top Dota 2 team in Western Europe revealed that they have two new players. It’s none other than Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang and the King Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan.

For many, it’s clear that the King needs no introduction. For those new to the game, he started competing professionally when he was 15 years old. He then won The International a year later to become the youngest world champion.

In a post, Secret revealed that for SumaiL, North America was too free so decided to go to Western Europe. SumaiL had originally joined OG in hopes of getting his second TI championship.

For iceiceice, Secret shared in a statement that they were looking for a world-class beast in the offlane, and they found such in iceiceice. As a player who had been part of SEA Dota for more than ten years, he has managed to excel on different teams while also stacking up trophies. In fact, Secret had fun in revealing that iceiceice was part of the team through a mini-comic titled “Pants Off,” which you can read here.

Iceiceice shared that he is excited to play with the team and that the lineup is perfect for his playstyle.

Making a Move

The two members who left Secret were Ludwig “zai” Wåhlberg and Lasse Aukusti “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen. They then joined Team Liquid which posed an additional problem since the roster now has seven members.

We now know what’s going to happen to one of them. It seems like Max “qojqva” Bröcker will become a content creator, particularly a streamer. In a tweet, Liquid revealed that while qojqva isn’t “done playing competitive,” he’s going to be streaming full time in the meantime. The organization did assure fans that despite this change, Brian “BSJ” Canavan will continue as a streamer for them.

So which Team Liquid member should expect changes soon?
