Motorola has revealed the Moto G200, a large smartphone with plenty of flagship hardware. Motorola has included a Snapdragon 888 Plus, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage and a 144 Hz display, all for €450. The Moto G200 has a 5,000 mAh battery and a 108 MP primary camera, too.

Motorola has presented the Moto G200, just a day or so after the device leaked, courtesy of TechnikNews. Presumably, the Moto G200 is the global version of the Edge S30, a smartphone that appeared on the TENAA yesterday. Contrary to rumours, the Moto G200 contains a Snapdragon 888 Plus, currently the most powerful smartphone SoC that Qualcomm has announced.

The Moto G200 also has 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage, along with a 6.8-inch display. While an IPS panel, the display also operates at 144 Hz, a higher refresh rate than many non-gaming smartphones offer.

Additionally, Motorola has equipped the Moto G200 with a 16 MP front-facing camera, a 108 MP primary camera and a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The device's fourth camera is a 2 MP depth sensor, an auxiliary camera that will support the other two rear-facing cameras.

A 5,000 mAh battery underpins the Moto G200, which it can recharge at up to 33 W. The device is IP52 certified too, and has a plastic back panel that will come in two colours. Supposedly, Motorola has applied metallic paint to make the Moto G200 feel premium, although it remains to be seen how durable this is.

The Moto G200 will be available in Europe and Latin America. The device will launch first in Europe for €450 and will ship with Android 11. Motorola claims that it will update the device to Android 12 soon.
