Zach LaVine’s biggest cheerleader knows he’s on the money.
During the Bulls’ game against the Trail Blazers on Wednesday night in Portland, LaVine’s longtime love Hunter Mar posted a video to her Instagram Story of the Chicago guard scoring a basket. Captioning the clip with four emojis of the money mouth face, LaVine later shared the same highlight on his own Instagram Story.
Despite putting up 30 points in Wednesday’s game, LaVine and the Bulls lost to the Trail Blazers, 112-107.
LaVine, who is currently in his seventh NBA season, is having a dominant year so far, averaging 26.2 points per game. The Bulls (10-5) are near the top of the Eastern Conference and will next face the Nuggets (9-5) in Denver on Friday night.
Ahead of the 2021-22 NBA season, Lavine and Mar enjoyed some R&R in paradise, where they dined by the water and road in UTVs.
“A little R&R, just me and you…. @hunter_mar,” LaVine posted to Instagram in August.
Mar also celebrated LaVine’s All-Star nod back in February, after the 26-year-old made the roster for the first time.
“1ST TIME ALL STAR! 🌟🌟🌟Wow, what an amazing accomplishment. There is no one more deserving of this experience. You have already been so special this season and we’re not even half way through! Proud of you baby!!! #LETSGETITTT,” she posted to Instagram at the time.
LaVine was selected in the first round of the NBA Draft by the Timberwolves in 2014 and traded to the Bulls three years later.
He and Mar announced their engagement in April 2020. It’s unclear if they have since tied the knot, though she has since changed her Instagram name to Hunter LaVine.
