Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Nina Lucas actress Mollie Gallagher has teased her character's reaction to Kelly Neelan being attacked on the street.
In scenes scheduled for next week, the newly-homeless ex-prisoner will take some drugs after meeting a dealer, but when she's left alone incapacitated, Kelly's then set upon by a bunch of drunken teenagers who pour booze over her head.
Witnessing this incident from afar, Nina must decide whether or not to help Kelly, who herself was involved in a thuggish attack on the late Seb Franklin (Nina's boyfriend) earlier this year.

"That is a massive trigger and it happens just as she is trying to put on a brave face in the midst of the situation with Roy [Cropper]," Gallagher said.
"She thinks to herself, what would Roy do in that situation?"
Does this suggest she'll come to her rescue? It's certainly a moral quandary for Nina, as the soap star also weighed in on how she's dealing with Kelly's release from the young offenders institute.
"With Kelly coming back to the street it seems like to Nina, that she is just going to get on with her life whereas she is still living with the scars of what has happened. Nina is a very empathetic character and she knows it will have to get to a point where she moves on, but at the moment she is really snappy towards Kelly – it's definitely a trigger."

Meanwhile, with killer Corey Brent now locked up, Gallagher spoke of how getting justice for Seb has been Nina's "main priority" over the last six months.
"She knew that if Abi [Franklin] killed Corey it was not going to bring Seb back, so it was important to her to get the right justice. They achieved what they wanted, which was for Corey to go to prison and that is a really big deal to her.
"She never has to see him on the street again."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7.30pm on ITV.
