Eddie Denies Love for Venom in Let There Be Carnage Alternate Scene

Even though they are getting to know each other better, the relationship between Eddie and Venom is far from being easy. The recently released Venom: Let There Be Carnage ended with the superpowered duo talking on an isolated beach somewhere. Now, Fandango has released an alternate scene of the finale, where Eddie tells his symbiote that his feelings for him don’t go beyond mere liking him. Venom insists that there is more and that Eddie loves him, but his human host vehemently denies it. The scene also serves to announce that the movie will hit Vudu starting November 23.

As fans may notice, the CGI in the scene doesn’t look completely finished. The reason is that this is a partly deleted scene that never made the final cut, so perfect effects didn’t take priority. Yet it’s still funny to watch the duo arguing about their feelings as everything fades to black as a version of Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart” begins.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is still playing in some theaters.
