Comedian Guy Torry in Wilmington

Comedian Guy Torry will headline the House of Laffs in Wilmington on Friday and Saturday.

His comedic big brother debuted at the same venue earlier this year. This time, star comedian Guy Torry will bring his brand of silliness to Wilmington, aiming to help you laugh off some calories before turkey day. Guy is from the “Def Comedy Jam” era of comedians and has appeared in a number of movies and TV series including “Martin,” “Screwball: The Ted Whitfield Story,” and he was a voice actor in the Nickelodeon cult classic “As Told By Ginger.” Guy Torry (and friends) will bring the pain at the House of Laffs (1206 N. Union St., Wilmington) at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $25. For more info, visit houseoflaffs.com or (302) 485-5233.

Singer-songwriter and Rehoboth Beach resident Keri Anthony will make a splash on stage in her own backyard. Anthony has an appetite for dishing up covers with a soulful and bluesy vibe. Gospel great Yolanda Adams in concert

Gospel legend Yolanda Adams will headline The Grand in Wilmington on Saturday.

Multi-platinum-selling gospel singer Yolanda Adams will baptize Wilmington fans in a sea of tunes from her deep songbook. Adams won five Grammy Awards and was nominated for 14 total. She performed “America the Beautiful” before the Super Bowl LVI football game; and she sang “Hallelujah” during the National COVID Remembrance ceremony in January. Adams has 13 albums under her belt, including tunes like “I’m Gonna Be Ready,” “The Battle Is The Lord’s” and “Open My Heart.” Adams will bless the stage at The Grand (818 N. Market St., Wilmington) at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $63-$73. For more info, visit thegrandwilmington.org (302) 652-5577.

3 comedians in Milton holiday show

Because you can’t have enough comedy shows this weekend, here’s another with three comics sharing the stage. The headliner is “The Legendary Wid,” a veteran known for using props. He’s appeared on major platforms like Comedy Central. The featured comedian is John Kensil, who’s gigged in big New York clubs like Carolines on Broadway and Gotham Comedy Club. The host of the night is Delaware comic Keith Purnell, who brings a lot of energy on stage. Purnell won the Howard Stern "Kill or Be Killed" comedy competition. All three comics will perform in the holiday show “Calm The F* Down: It’s Not Christmas Yet!” at the Milton Theatre (110 Union St., Milton) at 8 p.m., Saturday. Tickets are $13.
