Andy Cohen Pays Tribute To Lisa Rinna’s Late Mom Lois

Every Bravo fan has been abuzz about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The cutthroat season surrounding Erika Jayne’s legal problems, culminating in four reunion episodes, was must-watch TV. The ladies are apparently back on the streets to film the next season, so the buzz hasn’t really stopped despite the season’s end. But one recent story about Lisa Rinna’s mom has been particularly saddening.

On November 15, Rinna and her family announced that her mom Lois Rinna died at age 93. The news came after she suffered from a stroke just a few days prior. Lois’ time on RHOBH was short, but always sweet and a breath of fresh air. She was the wise mother of Rinna who taught her and her friends a thing or two about the value of life and friendships. My heart breaks for Rinna, Harry Hamlin, and their entire family as they deal with the grief following Lois’ passing.

The Bravo community came out in strides on the internet to honor Lois‘ legacy and send love to Rinna’s family. Even Rinna posted several throwback photos on Instagram of her mother. And during a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live this week, Andy Cohen gave a touching tribute to Rinna’s mom, ending in a toast to the lovely Lois. “We have always loved Lois and her appearances on the Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Andy said. “To Lisa and to everyone else in Lois’ family, we are sending all of our love.”

WWHL also aired a montage of Lois‘ best moments on RHOBH. We see her talking about going to strip clubs, dancing while Rinna videotapes her, and giving sound advice (oftentimes sprinkled with a curse word or two) to the ladies or her daughter about life. Lois is one of those moms of Bravo that you can’t help but love, even though their daughter may not be everyone’s favorite on the show. She will be severely missed by us all.
