Fresh off of an utterly dominant performance against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Utah Jazz will hope to continue their winning ways as they host the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night. The Jazz were desperate for a win in their last contest, and they delivered with a 120-85 blowout.

However, it is worth noting that the 76ers were without Joel Embiid (and Ben Simmons, but that may not be worth noting). Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors are coming off of two consecutive losses to the Portland Trail Blazers and Detroit Pistons.

The 7-8 Raptors may be winning less consistently than the 9-5 Utah Jazz, but they should not be taken lightly. Jazz fans should take particular note of Scottie Barnes, arguably the frontrunner for Rookie of the Year. An athletic point forward with unique defensive gifts, Barnes has the potential to give the Jazzmen fits on both ends of the floor.

Utah Jazz vs Toronto Raptors Odds Tonight

Utah Jazz Starting Lineup

As per usual, the Jazz should start tonight’s proceedings with Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell, Royce O’Neale, Bojan Bogdanovic and Rudy Gobert on the floor.

Utah Jazz Injury Report

Utah Jazz fans may be treated to Rudy Gay’s debut this evening. As it stands, he’s listed as probable for this contest against his former team. Otherwise, the Jazz are looking fully healthy for tonight’s game.

Utah Jazz vs Toronto Raptors Prediction

The Toronto Raptors are a pesky opponent, and one that Quin Snyder is almost surely not taking lightly. Having said that, the Utah Jazz should be entering this contest with newfound confidence following what could be a statement victory against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Raptors should pose a greater challenge than an Embiid-less Sixers squad, but unfortunately, they’re dealing with a significant injury of their own. OG Anunoby is listed as questionable for this game, and he’s arguably been the Raptors’ best player in 2021-22.

Even if OG suits up for this one, the Jazz have a significantly better record than the Raptors this season because they’re a significantly better team. The safe money is on the home team to pull away with a victory in this one, but it probably won’t be easy.

Prediction: Jazz 110, Raptors 104
