Crash involving tractor-trailers causes diesel spill on Brevard County highway
Authorities are investigating a crash that led to a diesel spill on I-95 Thursday morning. At 6 a.m., Florida Highway Patrol was called to the southbound lanes of I-95, near mile marker 169, for a crash involving two tractor-trailers. Troopers said that one of the tractor-trailers spilled 150 gallons of diesel fuel and the other tractor-trailer caught fire. One of the drivers was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.The southbound lanes are closed at the crash site for cleanup and traffic is being diverted off at exit 173, Malabar Road.
