The Boston Celtics only had a few bad stretches against the Atlanta Hawks on the road on Wednesday night, but the Hawks were shooting well enough that it was more than enough to sink the under-manned Celtics 110-99.
Down starters Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams III, Boston had its work cut out for it, and when the Celtics shot 26.8% from deep, the outcome was all but assured. The one silver lining from the loss is All-Star forward Jayson Tatum seems to have shaken off his early season funk, putting up 34 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists on 12-of-22 shooting.
